Desert Park Events

Desert Park is a year-round multi-use recreation complex, located in Osoyoos BC. and is home to a 5/8 mile dirt race track, five barns, and outdoor arena. We are dedicated to keeping the race track and other facilities open for equine activities, entertainment and recreational uses that benefit the Osoyoos community.

Chelsea Sanders Barrel Program

Dates: Mar 21, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 25 and Aug 22

A series of Group practice sessions designed to help racers and their horses develop foundation skills and further their barrel racing goals.  Chelsea provides group and individual coaching for registered participants.

Merna Boltz Memorial Ranch Show 

July 5 & 6, 2025 

A Ranch Riding Show to honour a very special lady!

Spectators welcome, concession and beer gardens open during the event.

Indian Relay Races

We are excited to be bringing Indian Relay Races to Desert Park, hopefully in late summer.  We are in the planning stages right now, and will announce the date(s) as soon as they are confirmed.
