Desert Park is Canada’s only Year-Round Training Facility located in Canada’s Hottest Destination – Osoyoos BC.
Set in the mountains with amazing views of the lake, only 5 minutes from downtown Osoyoos. Desert Park is a beautiful training facility, with 116 comfortable, secure, and spacious stalls, round pens, RV sites, and a 41/2 furlong track. Groomed daily during racing season, we have some of the best sand footing you’ll find anywhere. Ride daily on the track, or take a tour and ride the miles and miles of scenic trails, with exceptional views, surrounding the facility.
Desert Park has a rich history in the horse industry dating back more than 40 years, Desert Park is home to a 5/8 mile dirt race track, five barns, an outdoor arena and RV Park. We are dedicated to keeping the race track and other facilities open for equine activities, entertainment and recreational uses that benefit the Osoyoos community.
